Introduction
This regional conference aims to generate a forum for exchange on various current Biosafety and biosecurity issues of concern at the global, regional, national, and technical levels.
Topics of discussion this year are highly diverse, including but not limited to policies, international conventions, standards, guidelines on biosafety and biosecurity, one health, antimicrobial resistance, biosafety and biosecurity in public health, and emerging biotechnology. International biosafety experts and professionals from around the world will be speaking and sharing their knowledge and experiences. This conference will be a valuable opportunity for networking and to be updated with current developments on biosafety and biosecurity unique to the Asia-Pacific region.
